Description: Huawei HTTP MIB for configuring and monitoring the HTTP and HTTPS web management service on Huawei network devices.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is HUAWEI-HTTP-MIB?

HUAWEI-HTTP-MIB is a Huawei MIB for configuring and monitoring the HTTP/HTTPS web management service running on Huawei network devices. It exposes service-configuration data (enable/disable, listening port) and operational status about the web server and its connected users, placing it in the management-service and software status category. Monitoring it is about software service health: confirming the web management service is enabled and listening on the expected port, and tracking which users currently have management sessions open, which helps both availability checks and basic security oversight of the management plane. It has no significant dependency on other standard MIBs beyond general device management conventions. It is deployed on any Huawei device that offers a web-based management GUI, typically routers and switches administered by operations staff. Engineers can download the HUAWEI-HTTP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HUAWEI-HTTP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Huawei network devices with web management (routers, switches)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator would poll objects showing whether the HTTP/HTTPS management service is currently enabled, its configured port, and the table of currently connected web-management users, using this to confirm the management interface is reachable and to spot unexpected or unauthorized sessions.

What Can Be Monitored

  • HTTP/HTTPS service enabled state
  • configured management port
  • connected web management users
  • session count/status
