What Is HUAWEI-DSLAM-IPOA-MIB?
HUAWEI-DSLAM-IPOA-MIB is a Huawei enterprise MIB (hwIpDslamPvcIpoa, under huaweiUtility 46) for the IPDSLAM IASV300R001 platform's IP-over-ATM (IPoA) feature. Unlike a typical per-VC configuration table, the current module content is a small set of global scalars rather than a table of individual PVCs: hwIpDslamPvcIpoaEnable (turns IPoA on/off), hwIpDslamPvcIpoaDefaultGatewayIp (the IPoA default gateway address), hwIpDslamPvcIpoaAgeTimeout (an age-out timer in minutes, 180-1200), and hwIpDslamPvcIpoaTagMode (single/double/unconcern VLAN tagging mode for IPoA traffic). So while the hint description suggests per-VC IPoA connection objects, the actual MIB only exposes system-wide IPoA configuration rather than individual PVC status entries. It is deployed on Huawei DSLAM access nodes running IP-over-ATM bridging for DSL subscriber aggregation, and administrators can find it via a HUAWEI-DSLAM-IPOA-MIB download for their MIB browser.

An operator checks hwIpDslamPvcIpoaEnable to confirm IPoA is active on a DSLAM and reviews hwIpDslamPvcIpoaDefaultGatewayIp to verify the configured gateway matches the intended upstream router; an unexpectedly disabled hwIpDslamPvcIpoaEnable value would explain why IP-over-ATM subscriber traffic on that DSLAM is not being forwarded.
