Description:
The last retrain reson of Xdsl Line, coded as bit mask. Only one bit can be set valid, all bits set valid means invalid retrain reason.
What is hwXdslPortLastRetrainReason?
This OID holds a bit-mask code indicating why an ADSL line most recently reestablished its connection. Different bits represent different failure types (noise, sync loss, etc.) so technicians know what caused the disruption. A DSL support team checks this when investigating line instability to identify whether the problem is electrical noise or equipment malfunction.
