What Is HPNSAENV-MIB?

HPNSAENV-MIB is a legacy HP (enterprise OID 11) proprietary MIB reporting voltage-sensor environmental status. Its voltage-sensor table, keyed by index, records sensor type/location/description, status, current/nominal level, normal max/min, absolute max/min, lower/upper non-critical/critical/non-recoverable thresholds, resolution, tolerance, accuracy, and positive hysteresis. As a hardware-status MIB it lets an administrator watch voltage-rail health and catch threshold breaches on legacy HP server/network equipment. It is deployed on legacy HP equipment (voltage-sensor environmental monitoring). Engineers can download the HPNSAENV-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HPNSAENV-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
