hpSwitchAclGroupingEnable

Module: HP-SWITCH-BASIC-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): HP-SWITCH-BASIC-CONFIG-MIB::hpSwitchAclGroupingEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.7.1.29.1.3.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object enables or disables ACL Grouping support. When set to true(1), ACL Grouping will allow for the sharing of hardware entries from an ACL with the same name and type and applied in the same direction when the hpicfGppcv2AcSharedFlag is used to apply the ACL. When set to false(2), entries will be unshared.

What is hpSwitchAclGroupingEnable?

Setting this TruthValue to true(1) enables ACL Grouping, which lets ACLs with the same name, type, and direction share hardware TCAM entries when applied via the Gppcv2 shared-ACL flag, conserving limited hardware ACL space. Setting it false(2) reverts to unshared per-interface ACL entries; the default is false.
