Module: HP-ICF-OPENFLOW-MIB
OID (symbolic): HP-ICF-OPENFLOW-MIB::hpicfOpenFlowInstanceFlowLocationMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.89.1.4.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER

Description: This object specifies if the flows for this instance will be located in hardware only or in hardware and software. By default, flows will be located in hardware and software.This object is applicable only for an OpenFlow version 1.0 instance.
What is hpicfOpenFlowInstanceFlowLocationMode?
This setting controls whether an OpenFlow 1.0 instance's flows are programmed into hardware only, or split across hardware and software (the default). An admin would restrict flows to hardware-only when they want line-rate forwarding and are willing to drop flows that would otherwise overflow into slower CPU-based processing.
