hpicfDBroadcastFwdAcl

Module: HP-ICF-IP-ROUTING

OID (symbolic): HP-ICF-IP-ROUTING::hpicfDBroadcastFwdAcl

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.15.1.3.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: SnmpAdminString

Access: read-write

Description: This object contains the ACL to apply to IP Directed Broadcast packets.The value is the name of an existing IP ACL defined using the Command Line Interface (CLI) or a zero length string if there is no ACL applied. This object can only be set when hpicfDBroadcastFwdEnable is also set to 'enable' in the same request. Setting hpicfBroadcastFwdEnable to 'enable' without also setting this object will clear this object and unapply any IP Directed Broadcast ACL.

What is hpicfDBroadcastFwdAcl?

This holds the name (up to 64 characters) of an existing CLI-defined IP ACL to apply to IP directed broadcast packets, or an empty string if no ACL is applied; it can only be set in the same request that sets hpicfDBroadcastFwdEnable to 'enable', and enabling broadcast forwarding without also setting this clears any previously applied ACL.
