This object holds the authentication key; when the authentication type is simplePassword, it holds the plaintext password present in BFD packets, and for keyed authentication types it is used to compute the key in the BFD authentication packet, distinct from the encrypted-password variant in hpicfBfdSessConfigAuthenticationKey. Admins set it to the shared secret used for simple-password BFD authentication when encryption is not applied. An admin using simplePassword authentication without switch-side encryption would set this object to the plaintext password matching the peer's configuration.
