What is hpicfBfdSessApplicationID?

This value identifies which routing protocol or application sits above a given BFD session: none(0), ospf(1), vrrp(2), bgp(3), multiple(4), or static(5), as an HP extension augmenting the standard BfdSessTable per RFC 7331. Admins read or set it to know which higher-layer protocol relies on that particular BFD session for fast failure detection. A value of bgp(3) tells the admin that BFD session is providing fast-failure detection for a BGP peering, not for OSPF or a static route.
