fmSystemReset

Module: Fib-sys

OID (symbolic): Fib-sys::fmSystemReset

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.51.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Resetting the CARD. When reading the instance of this object the value has no meaning. cold reset is performed with selftest , while warm start is performed without selftest

What is fmSystemReset?

This resets the card: cold-reset(0) performs a reset with self-test, warm-reset(1) resets without self-test, power-up(2) simulates a power-up reset, and the value read back is always meaning-less-value(127). An admin sets cold-reset(0) to remotely force a full self-tested reboot of the card, or warm-reset(1) for a faster reset without diagnostics.
