Description: Fujitsu MIB for the x10sure high-availability server platform, monitoring redundancy and system health.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is FTS-x10sure-MIB?

FTS-x10sure-MIB is a Fujitsu Technology Solutions private MIB for the x10sure high-availability clustering/failover software platform, used to protect critical applications on Windows or Linux servers from downtime. It exposes primarily trap/notification-oriented objects describing HA events: timestamped state-change notifications, the affected server farm name, the origin of the event, and an accompanying message describing what happened. As a fault/event monitoring MIB it is centered on software status changes within the redundancy layer, i.e. detecting failover, failback, or cluster degradation events as they occur rather than continuously polled performance counters. It is organized under Siemens' historical enterprise branch (sni/sniProductMibs), reflecting its lineage from Siemens Nixdorf/Fujitsu Siemens product management conventions, but does not appear to formally depend on other standard MIBs. It is typically deployed on Fujitsu servers running the x10sure HA software to protect business-critical applications with automatic failover. Engineers can download the FTS-x10sure-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FTS-x10sure-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Fujitsu server running x10sure high-availability clustering software

Monitoring Examples

An NMS would subscribe to x10sureTrapStateChange notifications, using x10sureTrapFarmName and x10sureTrapOrigin to identify which cluster/server triggered the event and x10sureTrapDateAndTime plus x10sureTrapMessage to log exactly when and why a failover occurred. Repeated state-change traps from the same farm in a short window would indicate cluster instability (flapping) rather than a clean single failover.

What Can Be Monitored

  • HA state-change events
  • affected server farm
  • event origin/source node
  • event timestamp and description
