Description: The top-level SMI module for Fujitsu Network Communications (FNC), establishing the OID hierarchy under which all FNC enterprise MIBs register.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is FNC-COMMON-SMI?

FNC-COMMON-SMI is a Fujitsu Network Communications proprietary MIB (enterprise OID 3861) defining the base-level OID structure for the FNC enterprise MIB tree. It carries no data objects of its own — as a structural SMI module it exists so other Fujitsu Network Communications MIBs can register consistent OIDs under the shared FNC branch. It underlies the Fujitsu Network Communications transport/access product family. Engineers can download the FNC-COMMON-SMI file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FNC-COMMON-SMI. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Fujitsu Network Communications transport/access products

Monitoring Examples

A MIB browser loads FNC-COMMON-SMI automatically when parsing another Fujitsu Network Communications MIB module, resolving the OID branch those modules' objects are registered under.
