Category: Device Management, Hardware and Environment

Description: Vendor-specific MIB for FH800u series network equipment providing device management and interface status monitoring.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is FH800u-MIB?

FH800u-MIB is a legacy Allied Telesis (enterprise OID 207, Dual-Speed Hub) proprietary MIB reporting stack IP addressing and hub-group hardware inventory. Its objects cover in-use/temporal IP address/netmask/gateway/server-SLIP/host-SLIP/boot-up-IP pairs, an IP-information-reset action, a stack health-monitor flag, and a group table (ID, type, counter-reset action, position, repeater hardware version, serial number, system major/minor version, POST-code major version). As a status/configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm stack IP addressing and hub-group hardware inventory on a legacy Allied Telesis Dual-Speed Hub stack. It is deployed on legacy Allied Telesis Dual-Speed Hub (FH800u) equipment. Engineers can download the FH800u-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FH800u-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Legacy Allied Telesis Dual-Speed Hub (FH800u) equipment

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks stackInusedIP and groupRptrHwVer to confirm stack IP addressing and hub hardware revision on a legacy Allied Telesis Dual-Speed Hub.
