What is pfmSystemIpAddr?

This OID sets the IP address this SNMP agent will use, stored in permanent (non-volatile) configuration so it persists across reboots, unlike the read-only running-table equivalent. Admins use this to permanently reconfigure the device's management IP address.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.51.1.2.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> EDB-snmp::pfmSystemIpAddr

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.51.1.2.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> EDB-snmp::pfmSystemIpAddr.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.51.1.2.7.1 a <value>
