Description: The default value inserted into the Hop Limit field of the IPv6 header of datagrams originated at this entity whenever a Hop Limit value is not supplied by the transport layer protocol.
What is docsRphyRpdIpv6GrpIpDefaultHopLimit?
Reports the default Hop Limit value this RPD inserts into IPv6 packet headers it originates when no hop limit is otherwise supplied, per RFC 2461. It is the IPv6 counterpart to the IPv4 default TTL setting, checked when diagnosing unexpectedly short IPv6 traceroute paths from the RPD.
