For RF channel interfaces, reports the channel number within its channel type as signaled in the GCP RfChannelIndex TLV; it reports 0 for RF port-level interfaces. Together with the channel type and port index, this lets management tools pinpoint an exact downstream or upstream channel on the RPD.
