Description:
This attribute applies only to Ethernet frames using the 802.1P/Q tag header (indicated with EtherType 0x8100). Such frames include a 16-bit Tag that contains a 3-bit Priority field and a 12-bit VLAN number.
Tagged Ethernet packets must have a 3-bit Priority field within the range of PriLow to PriHigh in order to match this rule. If the referenced parameter is not present in the classifier, the value of this attribute is reported as 0.
What is docsQosPktClassUserPriLow?
This read-only object specifies the minimum 802.1p priority (VLAN priority bits 0-7) that a packet must have to match a QoS packet classification rule targeting VLAN-tagged Ethernet frames. Packets with priority tags below this value will not match the rule, allowing cable operators to differentiate traffic handling based on priority levels marked by customer devices. Network operators use this to validate QoS policy compliance for video services and other priority-marked traffic.
