Description: This attribute contains the number of unsuccessful Dynamic Bonding Change transactions that result in Partial Service. IT only applies to the downstream direction. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at reinitialization of the managed system, and at other times as indicated by the value of ifCounterDiscontinuityTime of the associated MAC Domain interface index.
What is docsQosDbcPartial?
This OID counts how many channel bonding reconfiguration attempts on cable modems partially failed, leaving some channels inactive instead of all active. A high count means subscribers are getting degraded speeds due to incomplete bonding. A cable network operator monitors this to identify modems with hardware faults or timing issues needing replacement.
