Description:
The number of Dynamic Service Addition Responses, including retries. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at reinitialization of the managed system, and at other times as indicated by the value of ifCounterDiscontinuityTime of the associated MAC Domain interface index.
What is docsQosDSARsps?
This counter tracks the total number of Dynamic Service Addition (DSA) response messages sent by a CMTS to cable modems during QoS provisioning, including retransmissions. An operator monitors this to understand how many service flow changes have been requested and acknowledged on the MAC domain. It helps diagnose whether DSA requests are being properly processed by the cable access infrastructure.
