Description:
The number of Dynamic Service Addition Acknowledgements, including retries. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at reinitialization of the managed system, and at other times as indicated by the value of ifCounterDiscontinuityTime of the associated MAC Domain interface index.
What is docsQosDSAAcks?
This counter counts the number of Dynamic Service Addition Acknowledgement messages received, including any retransmissions, on a cable network's MAC domain interface. These messages confirm that a service request was successfully processed by the CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System). Operators would check this counter to verify that service provisioning is working correctly or to diagnose cable modem registration problems.
