On its own it exposes little live telemetry, but it establishes the naming/reference framework downstream Dell MIBs use to expose hardware status such as power, temperature, and chassis health, and software status such as firmware version. It depends on the standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprise numbering convention (IANA-assigned Dell enterprise number) as its root dependency. In practice, DELL-REF-MIB SNMP monitoring means treating this reference branch as an identifying ancestor OID rather than polling it for live data.
