CYCLADES-MIB

Provides the root enterprise OID registration for all Cyclades Corporation management modules.

CYCLADES-MIB is the root enterprise MIB module for Cyclades Corporation, establishing the top-level "cyclades" OID under the IANA enterprises arc from which all other Cyclades-specific MIB modules, such as console server, terminal server, and power management MIBs, derive their object identifiers. It contains no monitorable data objects of its own; it exists purely as an organizational/registration node in the OID tree. Consequently it has no direct role in hardware or software status monitoring; its function is purely structural, providing the namespace root that other Cyclades MIBs, like CYCLADES-ACS-PM-MIB, build upon for their actual runtime objects. It is a dependency anchor for the full suite of Cyclades product MIBs rather than depending on anything itself. It is relevant wherever Cyclades console/terminal servers or power management devices are deployed and managed via SNMP. Engineers can download the CYCLADES-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

This module defines only the root cyclades OID under the enterprises arc, with no runtime data objects to poll; its sole purpose is to serve as the namespace root for other Cyclades product MIBs like CYCLADES-ACS-PM-MIB.
