What Is COM21-HCXVOICE-MIB?

This is a COM21 vendor MIB for provisioning and managing VoIP telephony service over the COM21 HCX cable broadband platform. As with its STU counterpart, no sample objects were available and the module description on file actually refers to a related COM21 ComController OC3 MIB rather than this voice-specific module, so specific object names cannot be confirmed. Based on the module name and product context, it would be expected to expose per-line voice service provisioning state and call/line status, giving operators visibility into whether voice service is correctly configured and operational for a given subscriber, a software/service-status concern analogous to line-card status in a voice gateway. It would have depended on or complemented COM21's broader HCX platform MIBs governing the shared cable access infrastructure. It was used by cable/MSO operators offering VoIP services over COM21 HCX hybrid fiber-coax networks. Engineers can download the COM21-HCXVOICE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
