Description: This object provides the round-trip delay (in microseconds) to the NTP Server. It returns a value of 0 if NTP is not enabled.
What is ntpServerRoundTripDelay?
This Integer32 reports the round-trip delay, in microseconds, to the currently used NTP server, returning 0 if NTP is not enabled. An admin monitors this to gauge how much network latency is affecting the accuracy of time synchronization. For example, an operator seeing unusually high ntpServerRoundTripDelay values might investigate network congestion between the device and its NTP server.
