What is vtVcPathStatsSESs?
This object counts the number of Severely Errored Seconds (SESs) encountered by a SONET/SDH VT path during the current 15-minute measurement interval. An SES is a second in which the bit error rate exceeds 1 in 1000, indicating severe transmission problems on the virtual tributary. Network operators use this counter to assess SONET/SDH line quality and trigger alarms or maintenance actions when SES thresholds are exceeded.
