What is ocnStmStatsLinePSC?
This read-only 64-bit counter tracks the number of protection switch count events detected on an optical STM (Synchronous Transport Module) line from the SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) module. This metric indicates how many times the protection switching mechanism has been triggered. An operator would monitor this when operating redundant optical circuits to ensure protection switching is functioning and to detect excessive switchover events that might indicate line instability.
