What is ocnStmHistoryLineFarEndCVs?
This object counts Far End Coding Violations (FECVs) detected on a SONET/SDH line for a specific history interval, stored in a 64-bit counter. Coding violations on the far end indicate transmission quality problems at the remote terminal and trigger the far-end to report errors back. An operator monitors this to diagnose link quality issues and determine if line errors are coming from the local or remote equipment.
