An admin checks this live far-end path ES value to determine whether the remote DS3 termination is currently experiencing C-bit parity errors. If e3t3StatsPathCESsFarEnd rises during the current bin on a circuit feeding a remote data center, the admin would alert that site's on-call technician before the bin even closes.
