Module: CM-PERFORMANCE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-PERFORMANCE-MIB::cmQosShaperV2ThresholdCrossingAlert

Description: This trap is sent each time a threshold on a PM condition on an Agg QosQueue is crossed.

What is cmQosShaperV2ThresholdCrossingAlert?

This notification is generated whenever a monitored performance metric on a QoS shaper exceeds a configured threshold, including the index, interval, variable name, and current value of the alarm. Network operations teams use these alerts to detect when QoS queues are exceeding acceptable limits and initiate remedial actions before service degradation occurs.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' CM-PERFORMANCE-MIB::cmQosShaperV2ThresholdCrossingAlert
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.5.2.11

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
