What is cmEthernetTrafficPortHistoryL2PTRxFramesEncap?
This object counts the total number of Layer 2 Protocol Tunnel frames that have been encapsulated on a specific port during a historical measurement period. It tracks traffic of protocols being transparently tunneled through the network. An operator would monitor this to understand the volume of protocol tunneling activity and to identify which protocols are being tunneled across the network.
