cmEthernetAccPortThresholdValueLo

Module: CM-PERFORMANCE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-PERFORMANCE-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortThresholdValueLo

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.5.1.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: Lower 32 bits of the threshold value. Please note that in case of cmEthernetAccPortStatsOPR, cmEthernetAccPortStatsOPT and cmEthernetAccPortStatsTEMP, the values are 2's complement, since these could have negative values.

What is cmEthernetAccPortThresholdValueLo?

This read-write Unsigned32 object holds the lower 32 bits of the configured 64-bit threshold value, stored as two's complement when the monitored field (such as optical power or temperature) can be negative. An admin sets it to define the numeric trigger point at which a threshold-crossing alert should fire. To alarm once traffic on access port 41 sustains roughly 900 Mbps, an operator would write the lower half of that limit into cmEthernetAccPortThresholdValueLo, pairing it with the other half in the sibling object.
