This read-only 64-bit counter tallies the number of Acceptable Frame Policy priority-tagged frames discarded (APFD) in the access-to-network direction, per the description. Admins watch this to confirm the port's Acceptable Frame Policy is correctly enforcing which tagged frames it accepts, and to spot customer traffic being unexpectedly discarded due to that policy. For example, if a customer's priority-tagged VLAN traffic isn't reaching the network side, a nonzero and rising value here would confirm the Acceptable Frame Policy is discarding those frames, prompting a policy review.
