Module: CLJ8500-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLJ8500-MIB::hrfslastpartialbackupdate

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: The last date at which a portion of this file system was copied to another storage device for backup. This information is useful for ensuring that backups are being performed regularly. If this information is not known, then this variable shall have the value corresponding to January 1, year 0000, 00:00:00.0, which is encoded as (hex)'00 00 01 01 00 00 00 00'. Refer to RFC 1514, Host Resources MIB, for more details. Additional information: Constant. The default value is the value defined to represent an unknown time of January 1, year 0000, 00:00:00.0. Returns status if attempting to perform a Get on this OID with no mass storage device installed or if the file system has not been initialized.

What is hrfslastpartialbackupdate?

This read-only octet string would report the date a portion of the file system on the printer's storage device was last partially backed up, using the same RFC 1514 date-time encoding and the same year-0000 placeholder when no such backup is known. Like hrfslastfullbackupdate, it is inherited from the generic Host Resources MIB template rather than something the CLJ8500 actively populates through any built-in backup mechanism. An admin should treat the all-zero placeholder value here the same way, as never recorded rather than a real historical date.
