Description: Specifies the verison of sent CDP packets
What is rlCdpVersionAdvertised?
This read-write value selects which version of CDP packets the device sends out. An admin sets it to control protocol compatibility with neighboring Cisco-style devices that may only understand a particular CDP version. For example, an engineer connecting to an older neighbor that only parses CDPv1 would set this object to advertise version 1 so the neighbor can correctly read the device's CDP announcements.
