What is rlCdpInterfaceTotalInputPackets?
This read-only Counter32 counts the total number of CDP packets received on the interface identified by rlCdpInterfaceId. An admin monitors it to confirm CDP traffic is actually being received on a link where neighbor discovery seems to be failing. For example, an admin seeing this counter stay at zero on a port expected to have a CDP-speaking neighbor would suspect a cabling or neighbor-configuration issue rather than a switch-side problem.
