Description: By setting the MIB to True Appliance VLAN-ID TLV may be advertised. A value of False will prevent this TLV from being advertised.
What is rlCdpAdvertiseApplianceTlv?
This read-write TruthValue controls whether the device includes the Appliance VLAN-ID TLV in its CDP messages, with false suppressing that TLV entirely. An admin sets it depending on whether attached appliances such as IP phones should receive voice VLAN information via CDP. For example, an admin who wants to stop advertising voice VLAN assignment via CDP, perhaps because phones are configured another way, would set this object to false.
