Description: Number of unknown message packets received from all the MGCs.
What is cXgcpStatsUnknownMgcRxPkts?
This read-only Counter32 counts message packets received from MGCs that the gateway does not recognize as a known, configured call agent. Admins care because packets from an unknown MGC could indicate misconfiguration, an unauthorized device attempting to control the gateway, or a stale/removed call agent still sending traffic. For example, an admin seeing this counter rise after decommissioning an old call agent would check whether that retired MGC is still sending stray signaling packets.
