Description: Number of unrecognized UDP packets received from all the MGCs.
What is cXgcpStatsUnRecRxPkts?
This read-only Counter32 counts UDP packets received from all MGCs that the gateway could not recognize as valid XGCP messages. Admins watch this counter because a rising count suggests either a protocol mismatch, corrupted traffic, or unexpected traffic being sent to the signaling port. For example, an admin seeing this counter increase after a call agent software upgrade might suspect the new version is sending message formats the gateway's XGCP implementation doesn't recognize.
