Description: Number of invalid protocol version messages received from all the MGCs.
What is cXgcpStatsInvalidVerCount?
This read-only Counter32 counts the number of messages received from all MGCs that specified an invalid protocol version. Admins watch this counter to catch protocol version mismatches, such as a call agent running an incompatible MGCP version against the gateway. For example, after a call agent software upgrade, an admin seeing this counter start incrementing would suspect a version incompatibility between the upgraded call agent and the gateway's supported protocol version.
