What is cxeCallCtrlVoIpDtmfRelayMode?
This read-write DtmfRelayMode object controls whether DTMF (touch-tone) digits pressed during a VoIP call are relayed to the far endpoint using NSE packets rather than being sent as regular voice-encoded audio. It matters because low-bitrate voice codecs can distort DTMF tones, so relaying them out-of-band via NSE preserves accuracy for things like IVR menu navigation or voicemail PIN entry. This object's value is only used as a fallback when the call agent itself does not specify a DTMF relay mode for a given call.
