srmeVtFramingType
Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::srmeVtFramingType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.3.22.1.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Specifies the Framing Type of the target slot line. This is applicable only if the target module is a T1 Service Module and byte sync mapping is used on SRME. Not applicable to E1 Service Modules.
sf: Superframe or D4 esf: Extended Superframe.
Default is esf if SRME lines are configured for byte-synchronous mapping. Else, the default is notApplicable.
What is srmeVtFramingType?
This read-write object specifies the framing type -- Superframe (sf) or Extended Superframe (esf) -- for the target slot line of an SRME mapping, applicable only when the target is a T1 Service Module using byte-synchronous mapping on the SRME (it doesn't apply to E1 modules); the default is esf when SRME lines use byte-synchronous mapping, otherwise notApplicable. An admin mapping a T1 tributary that must match a specific far-end framing convention would explicitly set this to sf or esf as required, rather than relying on the default. Since this is the one field that can be changed without deleting and recreating the mapping (per srmeRowStatus), an admin adjusting only the framing convention on an existing T1 mapping would update just this object.
