Module: CISCO-VISM-RSRC-PART-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-RSRC-PART-MIB::vismResPartRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.2.2.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This will 'add', 'delete' or 'modify' the partition.

To delete an entry, this object has to be set to 'del'. The resource partition can be deleted only after deleting all the connections Logical Channel Numbers(LCNs).

What is vismResPartRowStatus?

This read-write INTEGER lets a manager add, delete, or modify a resource partition entry, where deleting requires setting this to del, and a partition can only be deleted after all connections' Logical Channel Numbers (LCNs) in it have been removed. An admin cares because this ordering constraint prevents accidentally deleting a partition that still has active LCNs in use. For example, a technician decommissioning a resource partition must first tear down all connections using its LCNs before this object can successfully be set to del.
