Description: This object specifies the connection type used to transport bearer traffic. If the vismXgcpBearerNetworkType is chosen to be IP then the value of this object has to be/will be set to 'notApplicable'.
If the call agent specifies the connection type in the MGCP local connection options (CRCX request), then the configuration of this object will have no effect, else the value of this object will be used when sending CRCX response.
What is vismXgcpBearerConnectionType?
This read-write INTEGER specifies the AAL adaptation used for bearer traffic on VISM, choosing between aal1Sdt, aal2, or notApplicable, with notApplicable forced automatically when the network type is IP. Admins care because it determines the low-level cell adaptation scheme the gateway uses for voice unless the call agent's CRCX request overrides it. As an example, if vismXgcpBearerNetworkType is set to ip, an admin would expect this object to read notApplicable(3) rather than aal1Sdt or aal2.
