What is vismIpAddress?
This read-write IpAddress object identifies the IP address of this VISM card, used to communicate with the call agent, and is applicable when vismMode is VoIP or Switched. This is fundamental network provisioning that determines whether the card can even be reached by its controlling call agent for signaling, so an admin must set it correctly for VoIP-mode operation. For example, deploying a new VISM card in VoIP mode requires an admin to set vismIpAddress to a routable address on the network segment shared with the call agent.
