ds0CasCadenceOffTime

Module: CISCO-VISM-DSX0-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-DSX0-MIB::ds0CasCadenceOffTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.7.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This attribute corresponds to the silence between the digit tones. This object is applicable only for CAS backhaul applications. For trunking application it is not applicable. The value is expresssed in units of milliseconds.

From vism2.0.3 release onwards this object can configured in any application, but will be applicable only in non-trunking applications and will be ignored in other applications.

What is ds0CasCadenceOffTime?

This Integer32 (0..9999), in milliseconds, sets the silence duration between digit tones on this DS0, applicable to CAS backhaul (and non-trunking) applications. Together with ds0CasCadenceOnTime, this defines the full tone cadence a PBX expects, so misconfiguring it can cause dialed digits to be missed or misread. For instance, an admin integrating with an older PBX that expects longer gaps between digits would increase ds0CasCadenceOffTime to match that equipment's timing requirements.
