What is vismChanPvcType?
This read-write INTEGER object identifies the PVC's ATM adaptation layer type: aal-5, aal-2, or aal-1. This setting determines the fundamental framing and multiplexing behavior of the PVC, since AAL2 supports multiplexed voice channels per CID while AAL5 and AAL1 handle traffic differently. An engineer setting up a PVC intended to carry multiple multiplexed voice channels would configure this object as aal-2 rather than aal-5.
