This object is applicable only if the vismChanProtection is set to 'protected'. It is mandatory if the PVC is protected.
What is vismChanFallbackLcn?
This read-write Integer32 object (131-510) defines the LCN to use as a fallback if the primary PVC fails, applicable when the PVC is configured for redundancy across both control and bearer applications; it's only applicable, and mandatory, when vismChanProtection is set to protected. This object provides the specific fallback target when a protected PVC's primary path fails, and it's a required field once protection is enabled rather than optional. An engineer setting up a protected control PVC would be required to also configure this fallback LCN pointing to the designated secondary PVC.
