vismCasInterdigitTcrit

Module: CISCO-VISM-CAS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-CAS-MIB::vismCasInterdigitTcrit

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.8.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This object represents the critical timing in seconds. If used along with a digit map, the timer is started when the last digit is received. i.e and when no more digits are required for a digit map match. After this timer expires, the digit map match is assumed to be complete. If used without a digit map, the timer is started immediately and cancelled (but not restarted) as soon as a digit is entered.

What is vismCasInterdigitTcrit?

This read-write Integer32 object, in seconds (0-10000), sets the critical timing value: with a digit map, it starts once the last expected digit is received and, when it expires, the digit map match is considered complete; without a digit map, it starts immediately and is cancelled (not restarted) once a digit is entered. This timer effectively controls how quickly the system finalizes digit collection once a plausible match is reached, balancing responsiveness against accidental early cutoffs. An engineer noticing calls being routed before a caller finished an ambiguous extension number would increase this timer to give more margin before the match is finalized.
