cmVirtContextIfMapRowStatus

Module: CISCO-MODULE-VIRTUALIZATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-MODULE-VIRTUALIZATION-MIB::cmVirtContextIfMapRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.472.1.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used for creating/deleting entries in this table.

What is cmVirtContextIfMapRowStatus?

This is the RowStatus control for creating or deleting the binding between a physical or logical interface and a virtual context; setting it to createAndGo is what actually assigns an interface into a context, and setting it to destroy removes that interface from the context. Operationally this is the step that determines which traffic a given virtual context actually sees, since a context with no interfaces mapped to it processes nothing. An admin moving interface GigabitEthernet1/1 into a new 'Finance-DMZ-Context' would use this object to formally attach it after the context itself was already created.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.472.1.1.2.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-MODULE-VIRTUALIZATION-MIB::cmVirtContextIfMapRowStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.472.1.1.2.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-MODULE-VIRTUALIZATION-MIB::cmVirtContextIfMapRowStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.472.1.1.2.1.5.1 s <value>
