Category: Cisco Devices, SNMP Framework, Wireless and WLAN
Description: Declares SNMP agent capabilities for web authentication management on Cisco LWAPP wireless controllers.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-CAPABILITY is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module declaring which objects of the companion CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-MIB a given Cisco wireless LAN controller agent supports. It belongs to the Cisco LWAPP wireless controller MIB family and, like other capability modules, defines no runtime data objects of its own. It has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software status; its purpose is purely to describe implementation-level support for the web-authentication feature MIB used to manage captive-portal style client authentication on wireless networks. It is explicitly dependent on CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-MIB, whose object groups it references. It is consumed by SNMP management platforms and MIB compilers during capability negotiation, not during operational polling. Engineers can download the CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-CAPABILITY file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-CAPABILITY. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC)
Monitoring Examples
This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module with no runtime data objects; it exists to declare which parts of CISCO-LWAPP-WEBAUTH-MIB an agent implements and provides no monitoring data of its own.
